Distinctivly large Robusto, the largest of the Open Series. Staring it up it slowly warms giving off mild hints of exotic wood and spice. Fresh and light to medium in strength, it has a razor sharp burn and is very nice an enjoyable. Decent cigar but not my favorite from Cuban Cigar. The Montecristo Open Eagle Tubos (20) has good flavor – leather and wood – but didn’t wow me like other Cubans I’ve had. Construction was fine, burn was mostly even. It’s good, just not exceptional. Worth trying though.
