The Cohiba Medio Siglo arrived in 2016 as part of the brand’s celebration of its 50th anniversary, and the name itself, meaning “half century,” nods to that milestone. Cohiba built it in the Petit Robusto format, a short and stout vitola that pairs a generous 52 ring gauge with a trim 102mm length. It belongs to the Linea 1492, blended from Vuelta Abajo leaf and built around Cohiba’s signature triple fermentation of the seco and ligero fillers, the process that gives the marca its unmistakable smoothness.
The opening third leans on classic Cohiba cedar and a soft creaminess, with gentle floral aromatics drifting through the smoke.
