Every La Gloria Cubana Tainos is guaranteed 100% authentic, sourced directly from Habanos S.A. with the official seal and full traceability from Vuelta Abajo to your door.
La Gloria Cubana traces its roots to 1885, when the brand was born in Havana under the Sociedad Cabañas y Castro and quickly earned a devoted following among artisan smokers. Today its Habanos are crafted at the historic Partagas factory using leaf from the premium Vuelta Abajo region, and the marque is celebrated for an elegant, finely balanced medium-bodied character rather than raw power. The Tainos belongs to that refined tradition. Presented in the classic Churchill format, known by its factory vitola name Julieta No. 2, it measures a stately 7.0 inches (178 mm) with a 47 ring gauge. The dress box of ten was discontinued around 2012, which has turned this long, graceful smoke into a quietly sought-after piece among collectors of vintage Cuban cigars.
The opening third arrives gentle and aromatic, leaning on soft floral notes, a touch of tropical fruit, and a thread of honeyed sweetness that sits over light, clean tobacco. Through the middle the smoke gains a little more substance, with cedar and toasted nut creeping in alongside a creamy texture that keeps everything smooth. The final third stays composed and refined rather than turning heavy, holding its sweet, woody balance to the band while a faint hint of pepper adds just enough lift to close on. It is a measured, medium-bodied progression made for unhurried enjoyment.
Cuban cigars of this delicate, aromatic style reward patience, and the Tainos is no exception. Kept at roughly 65 to 70 percent relative humidity and around 65 to 68 degrees Fahrenheit, the leaf settles and marries over time, rounding the florals and deepening the cedar and honey notes. A well seasoned humidor with a reliable hygrometer is essential, and because this is a discontinued box you should aim to store it carefully if you are holding it as part of a collection. Give a freshly arrived cigar a few weeks of rest before lighting it.
This is a cigar for the smoker who values grace over force. The long Churchill draw, the floral and fruity sweetness, and the unhurried medium body make it ideal for an afternoon or early evening when you have an hour or more to spend with it. Newcomers stepping up from milder smokes will find it approachable, while seasoned aficionados will appreciate the refinement and the rarity of a vintage La Gloria Cubana vitola that is no longer in regular production.

Incredible cigar! The La Gloria Cubana Tainos from Cuban Cigar is absolutely exceptional. Smooth, complex, and beautifully balanced. Got wonderful notes of honey and tobacco throughout the smoke. Lasted about 82 minutes. Already ordering another box!

Exceptional cigar from Cuban Cigar. The La Gloria Cubana Tainos delivers on every level – flavor, construction, consistency. Beautiful notes of cocoa and pepper throughout the 80 minute smoke. This is why Cuban cigars are legendary!

The Cuban Cigar La Gloria Cubana Tainos is a quality cigar. Nice balance of flavor and strength. I enjoyed the cedar and spice notes throughout. Construction was very good with only one minor touch-up needed. Good cigar for experienced smokers.

Decent cigar but not my favorite from Cuban Cigar. The La Gloria Cubana Tainos has good flavor – leather and wood – but didn’t wow me like other Cubans I’ve had. Construction was fine, burn was mostly even. It’s good, just not exceptional. Worth trying though.

Phenomenal smoke! Been enjoying Cuban cigars for years and this La Gloria Cubana Tainos is easily one of my favorites. Beautiful wrapper, flawless construction, and about 85 minutes of pure enjoyment. The flavor profile is incredible – coffee and cream. Will definitely order more!
