The Hoyo De Monterrey Doble Corona is a respectable corona. Nice notes of wood and coffee, decent construction. However, I found it a bit one-dimensional compared to other Hoyo de Monterrey offerings. Not bad, but there are better options in this price range.

Decent corona but not my favorite from Hoyo de Monterrey. The Hoyo De Monterrey Doble Corona has good flavor – honey and nuts – but didn’t wow me like other Cubans I’ve had. Construction was fine, burn was mostly even. It’s good, just not exceptional. Worth trying though.
