Cohiba, the most prestigious Habano brand, exclusively unveiled the new Cohiba Pirámides Extra, during the 14th Habano Festival in February 2012. This is the first figurado that is now here to stay within the Cohiba brand’s Linea Clasica niche.
The Pirámides Extra features new safety measures on the band and, when released, on the new tube. The new band features a multitude of holographic elements, both visible and invisible, for heightened safety.
Pirámides Extra fits within the Cohiba Linea Clasica blend, with a mild-to-strong taste. It’s completely rolled by hand with leaves hailing from the finest tobacco plantations of San Juan y Martinez and San Luis, in the region of Vuelta Abajo in the province of Pinar del Río in Cuba.
Cohiba Habanos are recognised as exclusive cigars because, among other things, it is the company’s only brand in which three of the four leaf types used in the rolling process, Seco, Ligero and Medio Tiempo, endure additional fermentation in casks – a very special process that renders in unmatched aroma and taste.It’s completely rolled by hand with leaves hailing from the finest tobacco plantations of San Juan y Martinez and San Luis, in the region of Vuelta Abajo in the province of Pinar del Río in Cuba.
