About the Partagas Series D. 4 (Tubos)

The Partagas Series D. 4 is the tubed presentation of one of the most celebrated robustos to ever leave Havana. Partagas has been crafting full bodied Cuban cigars since 1845, and the Serie D line carries that heritage with conviction. Originally part of the brand’s alphabet series, the No. 4 became its lone survivor through the late twentieth century before Habanos revisited and expanded the range in 2005. Sealed inside an aluminum tubo, each cigar arrives protected from light and humidity swings, making this format a favorite for travel and for keeping a single classic robusto in pristine shape.

Flavor profile by thirds

From the first inch this robusto leans into the signature Partagas character of earth, leather, and cracked black pepper. The opening third settles into a medium bodied groove built on cedar and toasted bread, with a savory minerality underneath. By the midpoint the smoke deepens toward cocoa and sweet baking spice, and a quiet thread of orange and vanilla rounds out the edges.
