Every Partagas Churchill De Luxe is guaranteed 100% authentic, sourced directly from Habanos S.A. with the official seal and full traceability from Vuelta Abajo to your door.
The Partagas Churchill De Luxe belongs to one of Havana’s oldest and most respected houses, a brand founded in 1845 and known for cigars with deep, earthy character. Presented in the elegant Julieta No.2 format and traditionally offered in individual aluminium tubos, this Churchill was discontinued in 2006, which gives surviving boxes a quiet collector appeal. It rolls together aged Vuelta Abajo tobacco into a smoke that rewards patience rather than haste.
The opening third leans on sweet cedar and toasted nuts, with the woody Partagas backbone already present beneath a gentle creaminess. Through the middle the cigar deepens, layering leather and cocoa over a soft note of orange peel and a cappuccino-like roast. The final third gathers weight, pushing earthy, woody undertones and a measured spiciness that confirms why so many smokers associate this house with robust, masculine flavor.
Cuban Churchills of this stature respond beautifully to rest, and the tubo packaging helps preserve oils and aroma over time. Keep the cigar in a well seasoned humidor held around 65 to 70 percent relative humidity and roughly 18 degrees Celsius. Given a few years of patient aging, the youthful edge softens and the nutty, leathery core grows rounder and more harmonious.
This is a cigar for the experienced palate that appreciates a long format and a full, woody Habano. The seven inch length asks for an unhurried setting, so it suits a relaxed evening, a celebration, or a quiet afternoon when there is no reason to rush. Newcomers may find its strength demanding, but devotees of traditional Partagas character will feel right at home.
What size is the Partagas Churchill De Luxe?
It is a Julieta No.2, the classic Churchill format, measuring 7 inches (178mm) in length with a 47 ring gauge.
How strong is this cigar?
It is a full-flavored Habano with the earthy, woody power Partagas is famous for, making it best suited to seasoned smokers.
Is the Partagas Churchill De Luxe still in production?
No, this vitola was discontinued in 2006, so remaining stock is increasingly sought after by collectors.
