The story behind Ceramic Jars
Ceramic Jars is one of Cuba's most storied marcas — every cigar hand-rolled in Havana from sun-grown Vuelta Abajo leaf, aged and crafted by master torcedores under the official Habanos S.A. seal.
It's not just a cigar. It's an experience reserved for the true connoisseur.
Every Cuaba Millenium Reserve Ceramic Jar is guaranteed 100% authentic, sourced directly from Habanos S.A. with the official seal and full traceability from Vuelta Abajo to your door.
The Cuaba Millenium Reserve Ceramic Jar is one of the more memorable special releases in the Cuaba story. Habanos S.A. issued it to mark the arrival of the new millennium, presenting 25 Cuaba Distinguidos in a sealed, glazed ceramic jar rather than the brand’s usual flat box. Each cigar carries a distinctive white band reading “Reserva del Milenio 2000 Millennium Reserve,” which sets these apart from standard production. The Distinguidos is a true figurado, tapered at both ends, rolled here from well aged leaves chosen specifically for the millennium edition. As a limited release that has long since left the catalogue, the jar appeals as much to collectors as to those who simply want a handsome piece on the shelf.
What’s inside
25 Cuaba Distinguidos cigars in a glazed ceramic millennium jar
Figurado vitola, tapered at the head and foot, measuring roughly 7 x 48
Special white band marked “Reserva del Milenio 2000 Millennium Reserve”
Blended from finest aged leaves selected for the 2000 Millennium Edition
Limited Edition release, no longer in regular production
Why you’ll love it
The figurado shape is the heart of the Cuaba marca, and the Distinguidos shows it off well, drawing cleanly while the taper concentrates the smoke as you work through the cigar. Cuaba leans toward a medium body with earthy, woody character and a touch of sweetness, balanced enough for an unhurried afternoon. The ceramic jar protects the cigars and looks the part on any desk or display cabinet, which is a large part of the charm of these millennium pieces.
Who it’s for
This jar suits collectors of Habanos special releases and anyone drawn to the older limited editions that are increasingly hard to find. It also makes a generous and unusual gift for a seasoned smoker, since the jar itself becomes a keepsake long after the last cigar is gone. If you enjoy fully tapered figurados and want something with a bit of history behind it, the Cuaba Millenium Reserve is an easy choice.

Excellent cigar from Cuban Cigar. The Cuaba Millenium Reserve Ceramic Jar has a refined flavor profile - lots of cedar and spice. Draw was perfect and it burned for about 74 minutes. Only minor complaint is it's slightly strong for my taste, but overall a great smoke.
