The story behind Behike Collection
Behike Collection is one of Cuba's most storied marcas — every cigar hand-rolled in Havana from sun-grown Vuelta Abajo leaf, aged and crafted by master torcedores under the official Habanos S.A. seal.
It's not just a cigar. It's an experience reserved for the true connoisseur.
Every Cohiba Behike 52 BHK is guaranteed 100% authentic, sourced directly from Habanos S.A. with the official seal and full traceability from Vuelta Abajo to your door.
When Cohiba unveiled the Behike line in 2010, it redefined what the world’s most prestigious cigar brand could be. The Behike BHK 52 sits at the very top of the Cohiba range, built around the rare medio tiempo leaf, a small, sun-drenched leaf taken from the crown of the tobacco plant. Only a handful are harvested per field, which is why the Behike remains the most sought-after Cohiba ever made. In 2010 it was crowned the No. 1 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado with a score of 97.
Flavor profile by thirds
The first third opens with cocoa, cedar and a soft grassy sweetness. Through the second third the medio tiempo asserts itself, layering espresso, leather and warm baking spice over a creamy centre. The final third turns deep and earthy, with dark chocolate and a long, honeyed finish. It is full in flavour yet beautifully balanced.
Pairings
Aged Cuban rum mirrors the cigar’s sweetness and depth.
Espresso echoes its roasted notes.
A peaty single malt stands up to the powerful final third.
Aging and storage
Behikes age gracefully over five to fifteen years, growing smoother and more harmonious. Keep them at 65 to 70 percent humidity in a well-seasoned humidor; our guide on how long cigars last covers the details. Newer to Habanos? Start with the best Cuban cigars for beginners.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the Cohiba Behike so expensive? Its blend relies on the scarce medio tiempo leaf and very limited production by Cohiba’s most skilled rollers, which makes it both rare and costly.
How strong is the Behike 52? It is full in flavour and body, richer than a standard Cohiba Robusto thanks to the medio tiempo leaf.

Decent cigar but not my favorite from Cohiba. The Cohiba Behike 52 BHK has good flavor - earth and cedar - but didn't wow me like other Cubans I've had. Construction was fine, burn was mostly even. It's good, just not exceptional. Worth trying though.
