When Cohiba unveiled the Behike line in 2010, it redefined what the world’s most prestigious cigar brand could be. The Behike BHK 52 sits at the very top of the Cohiba range, built around the rare medio tiempo leaf, a small, sun-drenched leaf taken from the crown of the tobacco plant. Only a handful are harvested per field, which is why the Behike remains the most sought-after Cohiba ever made. In 2010 it was crowned the No. 1 Cigar of the Year by Cigar Aficionado with a score of 97.
Flavor profile by thirds
The first third opens with cocoa, cedar and a soft grassy sweetness. Through the second third the medio tiempo asserts itself, layering espresso, leather and warm baking spice over a creamy centre. The final third turns deep and earthy, with dark chocolate and a long, honeyed finish. It is full in flavour yet beautifully balanced.
