The Cohiba Seleccion Reserva belongs to Habanos’ celebrated Reserva line, a special production first unveiled by Cohiba in January 2003. Cohiba sits at the summit of the Cuban portfolio, the brand once reserved for diplomatic gifts before reaching the open market, and this release honors that pedigree. The original presentation arrived as a humidified box of thirty cigars spanning five vitolas, with filler leaves aged for more than three years before rolling. Tobacco was drawn from the prized vegas of San Luis and San Juan y Martinez in the Vuelta Abajo, the heartland that supplies Cohiba’s finest leaf, and each stick carried the distinctive Reserva band alongside the classic Cohiba ring in gold lettering.
