It's not just a cigar. It's an experience reserved for the true connoisseur.
Explore Sancho Panza
Every Sancho Panza Coronas Gigantes is guaranteed 100% authentic, sourced directly from Habanos S.A. with the official seal and full traceability from Vuelta Abajo to your door.
Sancho Panza traces its roots to 1848, when it was established in Havana and later linked to the same heritage that produced El Rey del Mundo. The brand borrows its name from the loyal squire in Cervantes’ Don Quixote, a fitting symbol for cigars built on patience rather than spectacle. The Coronas Gigantes wears the classic Julieta No. 2 vitola, a true Churchill measuring 7.0 inches (178 mm) by a 47 ring gauge, rolled with long-filler leaf grown in the celebrated Vuelta Abajo region of Cuba.
The opening third settles into a calm, woody character, all cedar and toasted bread with a soft sweetness underneath. As the cigar reaches its middle, gentle coffee notes emerge alongside a creamy texture that keeps the smoke smooth across the palate. The final third leans a little firmer, with leather and earthy depth carrying through to the finish, yet it holds its medium body without ever turning harsh.
Keep your Coronas Gigantes resting at roughly 65 to 70 percent relative humidity inside a well-seasoned humidor, ideally around 18 degrees Celsius. This format responds nicely to a few years of patient aging, which rounds the woody edges and coaxes out more of the creamy, coffee-laced sweetness. If you plan to smoke soon, give a freshly arrived box a week or two to settle before lighting your first stick.
This is a cigar for the smoker with time to spare and a preference for balance. Its generous Churchill length rewards an unhurried afternoon or evening, while the medium body makes it approachable for those still building toward fuller Cuban blends. Seasoned aficionados will appreciate how it stays composed and flavorful right down to the final inch, never demanding more attention than the moment calls for.
How strong is the Sancho Panza Coronas Gigantes?
It is a medium-bodied Habano, smooth and well rounded, which makes it a comfortable choice for a long smoke without the intensity of the heavier Cuban marcas.
How long does it take to smoke?
As a full 7.0 inch Churchill with a 47 ring gauge, expect a relaxed session of roughly 75 to 90 minutes depending on your pace and draw.
What does it taste like?
Look for woody cedar and toasted bread up front, coffee and cream through the middle, and a leathery, earthy depth on the finish.

Decent corona but not my favorite from Cuban Cigar. The Sancho Panza Coronas Gigantes has good flavor – honey and tobacco – but didn’t wow me like other Cubans I’ve had. Construction was fine, burn was mostly even. It’s good, just not exceptional. Worth trying though.
